Lazy Sunday

Quite a number of baboons inhabit the borderland between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Most of them can be found in the dense rainforest at Victoria Falls. While the falls are the obvious highlight of the are I couldn’t stop myself from spending some time with the Baboons. They are quite used to people hence I could approach them without being a big disturbance to them, yet this was still taken at 100mm – they are wild animals so always keep your distance.

Die zahlosen Baboons im Grenzgebiet zwischen Sambia und Simbabwe besiedeln vorallem den Regenwald der Victoria Wasserfälle. Durch die Zahl der Touristen sind diese Affen recht gut an die Präsenz des Mensch gewöhnt, dennoch sind es wilde Tiere, daher ist es ratsam immer einen respektvollen Abstand zu wahren.
