Haldi Hands
Last week I had the unique opportunity to shoot at a German-Indian weeding. The week was a blast and surely an experience I will cherish forever. While the 4 days were full of excitement, music, dancing, colours and exercise – haha – there were also mellow moments. This image was taken during the Haldi ceremony, where bride and groom will be coated with Turmeric (Haldi in Hindi) before family members take rice into their hands to form a protective circle around them which shall shield them for their future endeavors.
