Kærgård
On our way back from Esbjerg we found those lovely conditions in this oakwood on den Denmark’s west coast. Some low hanging clouds shrouded the trees in this lovely atmosphere, ever so slightly. The ‘Kærgård Klitplantage’ is an dune ecosystem built to secure the last remnants of Danish oakwood forest along the coastline. On the eastern side of this forest lies the Filsø. A lake highly popular with bird watchers and fishermen. We were lucky enough to find autumn colours peaking that week.
