Zambian Wildscapes

This time I visited the park during the rainy season – or ermerald season as they call it. The park is totally transformed and everything is green and lush. Most of the barren land of the dry season is now flodded and a wet marsh. Although it was very challenging to get images at all, I still believe the Images are more appealing. So stay tuned for vibrant green Images since I am kicking it of with this BW shot. I think the green gras would distract from the wonderful lines and textrures of this Zebra foal and it´s mother.

Mein zweiter Besuch in South Luangwa war während der Regenzeit. Zu dieser Zeit ist das Gras hoch, das grün saftig und (leider) die Tiere etwas schwerer auszumachen. Das Bild dieses Jungen Zebras und seiner Mutter profitiert allerdings davon in Schwarz und Weiß zu sein. So kommen die Linien und die Abstraktion der Szene besser zur Geltung.
