During our stay on the Lofoten N. Alexander Otto Photography and I had to struggle with cloud coverage regularly but we were also lucky enough to meet Hans van den Beukel who was kind enough to give us a ride to Vestvågøy to shot this location we had in mind for a long time. As soon as the blue hour started northern lights started to appear – at first a very faint flickering but getting stronger with every minute. I guess you don’t have to look at kp-values to understand how strong these Auroras have been! It was still very bright and we even got to capture them with your phones!!
