Germany
Germany, my country of birth, and interestingly, after spending many years living abroad, one might be surprised how little I have actually explored my own country. Still, a number of journeys through Germany have allowed me to capture some of its most remarkable landscapes, and a selection of those images has found its way into this gallery.
This collection showcases the dramatic peaks of the Bavarian Alps, the deep and mystical woodlands of the Black Forest, and the striking sandstone rock formations of Saxon Switzerland National Park. From alpine sunrises to fog drifting through ancient forests, these landscapes reveal a side of Germany that is both diverse and quietly spectacular. Although this gallery represents only a small portion of what the country has to offer, it reflects my growing appreciation for the landscapes of home—places that often become more meaningful the longer one spends away.
